In this case, we must decide whether the juvenile court abused its discretion in ordering Petitioner and his mother to pay restitution to an insurer as compensation for damages Petitioner caused to a stolen vehicle. We shall hold that the court abused its discretion in this case when it awarded restitution without first considering the age and circumstances of the child and in ordering restitution without providing Petitioner's mother a meaningful opportunity...
