On 20 April 1991, twelve year old plaintiff Kevin Young suffered an eye injury while playing inside an amusement device called a moonwalk, leased by defendant Fun Services-Carolina, Inc. (hereinafter Fun Services) for use during a festival at Welcome Elementary School.
