The defendant, Adam J. Milestone, was convicted, following a jury trial, of three counts of murder in violation of section 9-1(a) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (720 ILCS 5/9-1(a) (West 1992)) and one count of robbery in violation of section 18-1 of the Code (720 ILCS 5/18-1 (West 1992)). He was sentenced to a term of 45 years imprisonment on one count of murder (felony murder); no judgment was entered...
