The issue before us is whether the trial court erred in denying defendant Satcher's motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction. Defendant Satcher argues that under these facts the courts of North Carolina cannot assert personal jurisdiction over him consistent with the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
