The appellant, Angela Kaye Talley, was indicted on September 18, 1990, in Walker County, for the capital offense of "murder done for a pecuniary or other valuable consideration or pursuant to a contract or for hire," see Ala.Code 1975, § 13A-5-40(a)(7).
