MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

Defendant, the United States, has filed a motion to dismiss the complaint in this action, which was brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C. §§ 1346(b), 2671-80, for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(1). For reasons discussed below, I will grant the motion.
