Justice CAHILL delivered the opinion of the court:

Paul Schaff appeals a trial court dismissal of his petition for post-conviction relief without an evidentiary hearing. We affirm.

A jury convicted the defendant of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual assault. This court affirmed the convictions on direct appeal. People v. Schaff, 248 Ill.App.3d 547, 187 Ill.Dec. 975
