This is an interlocutory appeal from a partial denial of a motion for summary judgment based upon an assertion of immunity by appellant Tarrant County, Texas in a wrongful discharge action instituted by appellee Richard S. Bivins, a terminated deputy sheriff of the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department. The question presented in this appeal is whether the County is immune from liability for Sheriff David Williams's alleged violations...
