We granted this interlocutory appeal to address the denial of motions for partial summary judgment by each side on the sole issue before us, that being whether a discount received by one of two joint lenders at the time it bought the interest of the other lender shall be included in calculating interest for the purpose of evaluating a usury claim pursuant to OCGA § 7-4-18.
