ARMSTRONG, Judge.

The defendant, James O. Boyd, was charged by bill of information with attempted second degree murder, a violation of La.R.S. 14:27(30.1). The defendant pled not guilty. The trial court denied the defendant's motion to suppress the identification. After trial on March 7, 1995, a twelve-member jury found the defendant guilty of attempted manslaughter. He was subsequently sentenced to serve twenty years at hard labor.
