BACKGROUND

Plaintiffs, Kris Mortensen and Leslie Mortensen Huntington, are the surviving children of Alfred M. Mortensen (Mortensen). Mortensen, an employee of the Defendant, Maxwell House Coffee Corporation, was allegedly exposed to asbestos in the course of his employment. Mortensen died on January 6, 1994.
