We initially note that upon review of the record, respondent has failed to give proper notice of appeal, thus subjecting her appeal to dismissal under Rule 3(b)(2) of the North Carolina Rules of Appellate Procedure and N.C.Gen.Stat. § 7A-666. N.C.Gen.Stat. § 7A-666, which governs the right to appeal juvenile matters, states in part

Upon motion of a proper party as defined in G.S. 7A-667, review of any final order of the court...
