Hassell, individually, and PCC, Inc., d/b/a Piedmont Cabinet Company (PCC) (by Hassell as president) co-signed a note in favor of First National Bank of Newton County (the Bank) in the principal sum of $50,000. After the note went into default, the Bank sued Hassell, individually, for the unpaid balance. Hassell admitted he signed the note in his individual capacity and did not contest the
