On March 21, 1991, Cary Elford, a truck driver employed by appellee, Anchor Motor Freight, Inc. ("Anchor Motor"), was injured while lifting at work. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Elford filed an application for compensation and medical benefits, which was allowed for a sprain for his lumbosacral spine.
