Joan Carstensen appeals the dismissal of her diversity action against the Brunswick Corporation, Mercury Marine Corporation, and Sea Ray Boats, Inc. to recover damages for injuries she received when she fell out of a boat and was struck by the engine's propeller. Her complaint alleged that appellees failed to design, manufacture, or equip the boat and engine with a propeller guard.
