Impra, Inc. appeals from the January 25, 1994 revised judgment of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Easterbrook, J., sitting by designation, holding Impra liable for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 4,583,968 (the '968 patent) and awarding lost profit damages of $4,589,472. The district court held, inter alia, that Impra literally infringed claims 1-3, 6-8, 11 and 20-23 of the '968 patent, and failed...
