I. INTRODUCTION

This negligence action stems from a tractor trailer/pick-up truck collision that occurred on July 8, 1993, on Interstate 64 in Clark County, Kentucky, resulting in injuries to Oliver Martin, the owner and driver of the pick-up truck, and fatal injuries to Nellia Mae Wood, a passenger in Martin's pick-up truck.
