Plaintiff Alphonzo E. Dawson ("Dawson") commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and state common law. Dawson seeks recovery for injuries he allegedly sustained during his arrest by Corporal Daniel S. Ricker ("Ricker").
