BACKGROUND:

Plaintiff Jeffrey Sharrow filed this action to recover for alleged discrimination against by him by defendants John Bailey, Jr., M.D. and the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center (the hospital) on the basis of his HIV1-positive status.
