Bill Gibbons sued Fisher Controls International, Inc. (Fisher) asserting tort claims arising from his purchase of a corporation that was Fisher's independent sales representative in Alaska. His fraud and Deceptive Trade Practice Act claims were submitted to a jury, which found in his favor on both; the trial court granted Fisher's motion for j.n.o.v. on the DTPA claim only.
