The defendant in this public corruption and obstruction of justice case was sentenced on June 4, 1993 by Visiting Judge Jack E. Tanner, before whom he had been tried by a jury, to forty six months imprisonment, a $15,000 fine to be "paid in full forthwith," and a special assessment of $200 "due immediately."
