Plaintiff Donna Singer was a Tax Examiner at the State of Maine's Bureau of Taxation ("Bureau"). She was fired in November 1992, less than one year after she filed age and sex discrimination complaints with the Maine Human Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Both Agencies provided her with a Notice of Right to Sue. Plaintiff then filed a complaint in this Court, alleging that she was fired for filing...
