A jury found Don Eric Wise guilty of attempted rape, a class B felony, and criminal confinement, a class D felony. Wise raises two issues on appeal, which we restate as: (1) whether the evidence is sufficient to support his conviction of criminal confinement; and (2) whether he was denied effective assistance of trial counsel.
