Defendant, David Dylak, was charged with official misconduct (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 33-3 (now 720 ILCS 5/33-3 (West 1992))) for allegedly filing a false worker's compensation claim. The State appeals the trial court's order suppressing defendant's statements made to Illinois State Police investigators.
