The defendant was convicted of murder in the first degree by reason of deliberate premeditation and extreme atrocity or cruelty. On appeal, he argues that a new trial should be ordered because (1) the trial judge erred in admitting in evidence five photographs of the victim taken after his death; and (2) the prosecutor engaged in prejudicial final argument.
