These appeals are brought by the defendants in three civil actions that were consolidated for trial in the Circuit Court of Monongalia County. The plaintiffs are the administrator of the estate of Jennifer Wehner, who was killed when she was struck on a public sidewalk by a runaway pizza delivery car, and Nicole Fisher and Jessica Landau, who were injured in the same accident.
