CORCORAN, Justice.

The state petitioned this court to review a court of appeals decision setting aside defendant's conviction and sentence because his guilty plea to possession of marijuana for sale lacked a sufficient factual basis. We granted review to determine whether the trial court correctly found that a sufficient factual basis existed for defendant's guilty plea. We have jurisdiction to hear this appeal pursuant to Ariz.
