Plaintiff, FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION (FDIC), instituted these collection proceedings in its corporate capacity seeking payment on a promissory note in the principal amount of $170,000.00. Named defendants are: MONTERREY, INC. (MONTERREY), ANTONIO POU, JR. (POU), his wife ILBA MAIDA ESTAPE, and the conjugal partnership constituted by them.
