On March 16, 1994, the Grand Jury for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, sitting in Williamsport, returned a one-count indictment charging Samuel Alexander Amerson, Jr. with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g) and 924(e).
