The marriage of Lowell V. Zetterman, petitioner and appellant, and Edith L. Zetterman, respondent, was dissolved by the district court for Dawson County on November 16, 1979. The decree of dissolution included the approval of a property settlement agreement between the Zettermans. That property settlement agreement provided, in part, for the support of their two minor children, as follows:
