This appeal arises out of an action brought by plaintiff/appellee Reilly Associates ("Reilly") against defendant/appellant Duryea Borough Sewer Authority ("the Authority") to recover for the latter's alleged nonpayment for services rendered. The Authority's failure to file an answer to Reilly's complaint resulted in the entry of a default judgment against the Authority.
