In June 1990, plaintiff William Levesque was carrying a plastic spray-pump container of defendant Miles Inc.'s Cutter insect repellent. He alleges he was injured when, without warning, the container leaked and the insect repellent ignited. Levesque suffered injuries, including second degree burns, over his left leg.
