Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. MCL 750.520b(1)(a); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(a). His sentence was sixty to ninety years in prison. On appeal, he argues that his conviction must be reversed, because the trial court failed to give the jury the insanity instruction before expert witnesses testified. He asserts, also, that he is entitled to resentencing, as his sentence is disproportionate and violates...
