In 1956, George Herman Nelson (George) was declared incompetent to manage his estate and person. Petitioner, the American National Bank & Trust Company (Bank), was appointed the guardian of his estate and respondent, Robert Nelson (Nelson), George's brother, was appointed the guardian of his person.
