Stephen Fred Weingartner appeals from the district court's decision that child support payments which had become due and payable to his former wife, Lea Ann Michels, before her current husband adopted the child were not canceled as a result of the adoption. The Court of Appeals affirmed the district court in Michels v. Weingartner, 18 Kan.App.2d 168
