Lester Roy Amory sued Kemira, Inc. alleging he suffered personal injury and other damages as a result of exposure to toxic gas released into the atmosphere by Kemira on December 29, 1989. Mr. Armory's wife, Mary Jean Amory, was joined as a plaintiff in the action to bring her loss of consortium claim.
