Following a jury trial, defendant Anthony Lash was convicted of the July 1989 shooting murder of James Towns (Ill.Rev. Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 9-1) and sentenced to thirty-four years imprisonment. Defendant raises the following errors on appeal: (1) the circuit court erroneously denied his pre-trial motion to suppress; (2) the court improperly allowed the State to inform the jury on multiple occasions that defendant...
