This case arises out of a complaint filed by plaintiffs Francisco Amaury Padilla Rodriguez and Miguel A. Laporte González alleging violations by a host of defendants of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1961 et seq. (hereinafter "RICO").
