This is a "hybrid" action under § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act ("LMRA"), 29 U.S.C. § 185, stemming from plaintiff George A. Williams' layoff in October 1992 by his employer, defendant Bell Aerospace Wheatfield ("Bell").
