This case came before the Court on the Plaintiff's averment that the Defendant infringed U.S. Patent No. 5,020,517 (the "'517 patent"). On July 20-22, 1993, this Court conducted a bench trial on the issue of whether the '517 patent is unenforceable because of the patent applicant's alleged inequitable conduct before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
