Karen Kreul Shinn (Shinn), the appellant, brought an action in Iowa to increase the amount of child support awarded under an earlier Iowa divorce decree. The Iowa court entered a default order increasing the amount of support. Subsequently, the Iowa court granted her an order for mandatory wage withholding. At the time of both of these orders, Robert Kreul (Kreul), the respondent, was a resident of South Carolina; the appellant and supported child...
