On February 17, 1993, a McLean County circuit judge granted plaintiff Rick Weitekamp's request for a preliminary injunction against his former employee, defendant Carroll Lane. Lane was enjoined from (1) engaging in sales and service of refrigeration units in McLean County businesses operating as purveyors of food; (2) representing in any way that C & L Company, which the trial judge concluded Lane sold to Weitekamp...
