ABOUSSIE, Justice.

Appellant was charged with igniting a fire that killed four people and injured another person. In five causes consolidated for a single trial, the district court found appellant guilty of five acts of arson. Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 28.02(a) (West Supp.1993).
