Plaintiff, Patricia Glass, filed this action to recover damages for injuries she sustained after falling down steps located in the food court of Randhurst Shopping Center in Mount Prospect, Illinois. She alleged various defects in the design of the stairs owned and maintained by a group of defendants including Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. and collectively referred to in her complaint as "Randhurst."
