This diversity case arises out of an accident that occurred at 6:00 p.m. on November 1, 1988, on Old Bethlehem Pike in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In the accident, a car driven by Marian J. Stewart collided with a tractor-trailer that, in the process of turning, had extended fully across the northbound lane of traffic.
