Justice GORMAN delivered the opinion of the court:

The police found a brick of cannabis in the trunk of defendant's car after he consented to a search. He was convicted of unlawful possession and now appeals the denial of his motion to suppress. We affirm.

On February 11, 1989, the Macomb Police Department received an anonymous tip on the Crime Stoppers line. The caller said that on February 12, E.J. Spriegel would be driving from Wheeling, Illinois to Macomb...
