The sole question presented for review by this Court concerns the effect, if any, to be given an arbitration clause contained in a construction contract executed by the parties, Johnston County and R.N. Rouse & Co., Inc. Respondent contends that the Court of Appeals erred in concluding that another provision of the contract irreconcilably conflicted with the arbitration clause and thus rendered the arbitration clause ineffectual.
