Pamela S. Barnett pleaded guilty to two counts of mail fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341. The district court sentenced Barnett to five years' probation.1 Barnett subsequently pleaded guilty to a state charge of deceptive practices for writing a bad check.
