Appellant Javier Aaron Dabdoub-Canez (Canez) was convicted of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). Because Canez's possession conviction involved more than five kilograms of cocaine, the district court was required to sentence him to a mandatory minimum ten-year prison term. 21 U.S.C. § 841(b)(1)...
