Defendant Larry Jon Naisbitt appeals his conviction for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 58-37-8(2)(a)(i) and (b)(ii) (Supp. 1991). Defendant filed a pretrial motion to suppress evidence seized during a search of the vehicle he was driving.
